tinyhomes-us started as a two-person framing crew and grew into a full tiny-home shop, but the way we work hasn't changed much.
Built by people who'd rather build than sell
tinyhomes-us was founded in Asheville, North Carolina, by a small crew of carpenters and electricians who'd spent years framing full-size custom homes for other builders. The idea was simple: apply the same standards, real lumber, tight joinery, code-correct wiring, to something smaller, faster, and a lot more affordable. We keep a rotating stock of ready-built homes on the lot for buyers who want to move fast, and for everyone else, we build from scratch to whatever the site and family need.
A decade and a half later, we're still a shop-based operation rather than a franchise. Every home that leaves our lot was built by someone on our current crew, not subcontracted out to the lowest bidder. That's slower than some of our competitors, and it's also why our callback rate is close to zero.

We check your specific parcel and local zoning code before you sign anything, even when the answer is one you didn't want to hear.
One crew, start to finish
The people who frame your home are the same people who finish it and deliver it. Nothing gets handed off to a subcontractor mid-build.
Based in Asheville, building nationwide
Our shop sits on four acres just outside Asheville, where every home is framed, wired, and finished before it ever leaves the lot. We deliver within 100 miles at no extra cost, and further than that on a per-mile basis.
